I got quite a few high-quality pictures of the birdies there. Changes in regulations made trapping birds illegal. It was always illegal to keep unregistered wildlife, but it was possible to trap birds then register them. Tanagers were easy pickings, because flock birds are naturally more friendly, and their bright colors makes them hard to miss. With the new regulations, these birds have a gorwing wild population that is a true spectacle to see! Expect more of these soon.
